James Malatesta had a hat trick, and the Quebec Remparts won against the Kamloops Blazers in a prolific game in goals, with a score of 8-3.

Kassim Gaudet scored two goals in the game, Nathan Gaucher, Théo Rochette, and Zachary Bolduc added a goal each in the success of the Remparts. Justin Robidas handed out three assists, and Pier-Olivier Roy added two assists.

William Rousseau stopped 27 shots in the game.

Matthew Seminoff, Daylan Kuefler and Caedan Bankier had one goal for the Blazers, and Logan Stankoven had three assists during the game.

Dylan Ernst played the entire game for the Blazers, and made 25 saves in the game.

The Quebec Remparts hit 17 times in the second period, compared to only six attempts for the Blazers, and scored four goals during that period. In the entire game, the Remparts shot 33 times, compared to 30 for the Blazers.

The Remparts’ next game will take place on May 29, at 9 p.m.
