(Arlington) Dak Prescott threw for 345 yards and two touchdowns and the Dallas Cowboys stopped a Detroit Lions two-point conversion with 23 seconds left to win 20-19 on Saturday.

The Lions had three attempts for the game-clinching conversion after an 11-yard passing touchdown from Amon-Ra St. Brown.

In the first, Jared Goff found offensive lineman Taylor Decker in the end zone, but the Lions were punished. An interception was then canceled due to a Cowboys penalty, then an incomplete pass from Goff to Josh Reynolds ended the suspense.

The Cowboys thus extended their streak to 16 victories in front of their fans.

CeeDee Lamb had a 92-yard passing touchdown. It was the second longest pass in Cowboys history after Don Meredith’s 95-yard pass to Bob Hayes in 1966.

The Cowboys took a 17-13 lead when Brandin Cooks caught a touchdown pass from Prescott and the Cowboys increased their lead on a Brandon Aubrey field goal. The latter set a record by making his first 35 career field goal attempts.

Goff’s second interception of the game set up the field goal, but the quarterback then led a nine-play, 75-yard offensive drive for the St. Brown touchdown.

Goff finished the game with 19 completions on 34 attempts, 271 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
