Every time of the year its scam. The tax return is a godsend for scammers. Indeed, each year they develop new methods to rob their victims. But beyond taxes, fraudsters can also use other state bodies to implement their schemes.

Thus, for several weeks, an SMS has been actively circulating in France. Supposedly signed by the ANTAI (National Agency for the Automated Processing of Offences), it explains that it is necessary to quickly pay a fine under penalty of an increase.

“FINES.GOUV: Please note that you have an unpaid parking fine. To avoid any increase, regularize your situation as soon as possible using the link below” can we read. However, these are just scams and therefore it is important not to reply to the text message or follow up on it.

ANTAI does not send text messages for fines and only communicates by post or, in some cases, by email. In this second case, the official sender address is always nepasrepondre_noreply@antai.fr. So, if the message comes from another address, it is most likely a scam. In this case, do not respond and do not open links or attachments that may slip into emails.

But beyond this organization, it is also the DGFiP which can be targeted by usurpations with the aim of stealing information from the French. Discover in our slideshow the five scams that circulate the most at the time of the 2023 tax declaration.
