Forward Tanner Jeannot has signed a two-year contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Jeannot, who was acquired from the Nashville Predators by Florida in February, will earn an average annual salary of US$2.665 million.

The Lightning gave up defenseman Cale Foote, a conditional first-round pick in 2025, a second-round pick in 2024, as well as third-, fourth-, and fifth-round picks in the last draft.

In 20 games with the Lightning this season, Jeannot has one goal and three assists. He scored 14 points in 56 games with the Predators before being traded.

The forward made his NHL debut in 2020-21, recording seven points, including five goals, in 15 games with the Predators.

The following season was productive for Jeannot. In 81 games, the winger scored 24 goals and 17 assists, personal highs.
