A few weeks before the first skate in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (LPHF), the Montreal team unveiled its full squad on Tuesday.

The team, which does not yet have an official name, will be made up of 13 attackers, 7 defenders and 3 goalkeepers. Attackers Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey, defender Erin Ambrose and goalkeeper Ann-Renée Desbiens are the leading figures.

To these 23 players are added 3 members of the reserve team.

The first match in Montreal for the new metropolitan team will take place on January 13 at the Auditorium de Verdun, against Boston. Kori Cheverie’s squad will play two games before that: January 2 at the TD Place arena in Ottawa and January 6 at the Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota.
