Pollen (male seed produced by the stamens of flowers) is the leading cause of spring allergy with about 20% of the French population affected.

Sometimes used to relieve the symptoms of menopause (bee pollen), it is still little appreciated given the number of allergic people.

Pollen allergies can manifest in several forms of symptoms. The most common is tingling and itching of the nose, throat and ears. But sometimes also comes headaches, sneezing, runny nose, and even a worsening of asthma if the person already has it.

To calm your allergies and soothe your symptoms, several tips are possible such as ventilating your interior, rinsing your hair in the evening, or even wearing sunglasses.

The National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (R.N.S.A.) aims to continue the work carried out since 1985 by the Aerobiology Laboratory of the Pasteur Institute in Paris. Its main object of study is the content of the air in biological particles which can have an impact on the allergic risk for the population. That is to say the study of the content of the air in pollens and molds as well as the collection of the associated clinical data. According to the R.N.S.A., 28 departments of France are a little less affected by this wave of pollen.
