(Ottawa) Star kicker Richie Leone has accepted a one-year contract extension from the Ottawa Redblacks.

Leone was selected to the CFL All-Star team for the fifth time this season after clearing the ball for 4,399 yards on 117 punts.

The 31-year-old American played in all 18 games for the Rouge et Noir in 2023 to bring his career total to 104. He also wore the colors of the British Columbia lions.

His 668 punts went 26,446 yards, for an average of 47.4 per punt.

Leone also holds the ball for precision kicker Lewis Ward on field goals and conversions.
