(Seattle) The Baltimore Orioles reinstated center fielder Cedric Mullins on Friday ahead of their game against the Seattle Mariners.
The Orioles also recalled left-hander Nick Vespi from Norfolk AAA and demoted outfielder Ryan McKenna and right-hander Joey Krehbiel.
Mullins has batted .259 with nine home runs, 47 RBIs and 14 stolen bases this season. He hasn’t played since July 15 due to injury.
Mullins has had two stints on the injured list this year due to groin issues. The Orioles lead the All-American East Division, but have struggled with injuries to Mullins and outfielder Aaron Hicks.
