The Minnesota Wild outscored the Dallas Stars 5-1 on Friday and now lead the series 2-1 after three games.

Mats Zuccarello, who scored the game’s first goal in the first half, netted a brace. Marcus Johansson, Marcus Foligno and Ryan Hartman scored the other goals for the Wild.

Hartman, who scored in an empty net late in the game, also had two assists.

Luke Glendening scored the Stars’ only goal of the game, beating goaltender Filip Gustavsson in the top of the second period to make it 2-1 for the Wild. Glendening’s goal came just 11 seconds after Johansson’s.

Gustavsson made 23 saves, while opponent Jake Oettinger turned aside 20 shots.

Game 4 of the series will be played Sunday night in Minnesota.
