(Foxborough) Running back Ezekiel Elliott is expected to continue his career with the New England Patriots under a one-year, $4 million contract.

The 28-year-old Elliott had 68 rushing touchdowns and rushed for more than 8,000 yards in seven seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. Picked fourth overall in the 2016 draft, he led the NFL in rushing yards in his first year, as well as in 2018.
Elliott also had over 2,300 passing yards, reaching the end zone 12 times on passing plays.
