(Los Angeles) Famous American model Bella Hadid spoke at length on Sunday about the chronic illness she has suffered from for 15 years, explaining on Instagram her absence from the latest haute couture shows, and hinting at her return.
In a post along with excerpts from her medical records and photos of herself on a drip or in the hospital, Bella Hadid reflected on her “15 years of unseen suffering” due to Lyme disease and lengthy treatments, saying to himself “finally in good health”.
“I’ll be back when I feel ready,” says the 26-year-old star, one of the most popular models of her generation, along with her sister Gigi Hadid.
She had not participated in the last major fashion events, including the Met Gala and Paris Fashion Week, leaving some to fear her permanent withdrawal from the catwalks.

“Being so sad and sick when I have so much luck, privilege, opportunity and love around me is perhaps the most confusing thing ever,” she said on Sunday.
