(Miami) For the first time since the arrival of Lionel Messi this summer, Inter Miami conceded a draw Wednesday against Nashville (0-0) in the North American Championship (MLS) while the Argentine star is remained silent.

Miami remained, thanks in large part to the seven-time Ballon d’Or, on nine consecutive victories in all competitions, and had even managed to win its first MLS game since May a few days earlier against New York.

Lionel Messi, who arrived on July 15 after two seasons at PSG, had so far scored 11 goals in nine games.

The Floridians also won the first title in their young history, the new Leagues Cup, after a faultless run. And they are qualified for the United States Cup final which will be played against Houston at the end of September.

With this draw, Inter Miami is now 10 points from 9th place, qualifier for the MLS playoffs, and held by Chicago.
