Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe in the Netflix series Wednesday, will not be reprising his role in the second season following allegations of misconduct that were reported anonymously on Twitter last January.
According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, the character of the Canadian actor would be erased from the rest of the story. The news would have been confirmed with sources close to the production and the family of the actor also seen in The Gifted.
Percy Hynes White has been charged with assaulting a woman at a party in Toronto. This same person claims that he would have organized it with the aim of getting women drunk in order to have sex with them.
In June, the 22-year-old posted a message on Instagram denying the allegations. His parents, who are an actor and author respectively, have also publicly supported him, as has Jenna Ortega who plays the title role in Wednesday.
