On October 3, 2020, Lou-Anne, the younger sister of Miss France 2013 Marine Lorphelin, was crowned Miss Burgundy 2020. Eight years after her sister’s coronation, the young woman represented the Burgundy region during the Miss France election. .

Interviewed by France 3 Bourgogne-France-Comté, the student in Master 2 in a business school had returned to her victory: “I did not really expect it. I cried a lot before the election to empty my emotions and there, suddenly, I have this shock. But, I am very, very happy and I hope to go as far as possible in the Miss France adventure. It will be a preparation, I will see how things present themselves to me. I will already realize that I am Miss Burgundy. I am very happy, but a little shocked”, she confided.

Her sister Marine Lorphelin did not hide her joy at the announcement of her coronation: “She only owes it to her, because she has given her all in this election from the start. I think she has evolved a lot and that she shines. She is more and more beautiful and she gains confidence. So, it makes me too happy to see her like that“, she explained. On December 12, 2020, the young woman was crowned fourth runner-up to Amandine Petit at Puy du Fou.
