Summer vacation is getting closer and closer. The sun returns, grows stronger day by day, and with it the desire to relax on the beach or on the terrace of a bar by the sea, or even to discover various cultural treasures. The rest away from the daily routine generates a boost of energy before a return to school often dreaded by many French people.

Nevertheless, with inflation, the budget of the French has been greatly reduced this year. Some therefore prefer to favor the month of July, considered cheaper and less crowded. Even if this thesis can be a source of questioning, the month of August still offers great opportunities for dream trips.

Despite an economic context, which once again weighs down the vacation plans of some, this obviously has no effect on reservations for this summer. Didier Arino, Managing Director of Protourisme confirms this for BFMTV: “reservations are excellent for this summer with an increase of 15% which is surprising after a very strong spring. The average baskets have never been so high”.

In addition, according to a study published by Promovacances, the French say they are ready to save money and reduce their daily costs to afford a well-deserved vacation. Indeed, this behavior holds true with 33% of respondents agreeing with it.
