A young man in Brussels who is a 47-mile-per-hour was driving in the zone 30, and a fine of no less than 16,000 euros. As a result of the rich history that the driver is already up ahead.

The first instance court sentenced the man to a fine of up to 16,000 euros and a term of imprisonment of 90 days. “Well, that is the maximum fine, quite impressive,” said the lawyer for the man. “The court has to take into account the fact that my client is a repeat offender: it’s the second time he was caught behind the wheel while he was actually a ban on driving at work.”
