Sorting food, cleaning the garden, storing equipment… The list of things to check before going on vacation can get very long. One of those that we never forget concerns electricity. But apart from unplugging electrical appliances, what can you do to save as much as possible? Check out tips to help you out in our slideshow below.

Since 2022, it has become essential to save energy. In fact, last October the government presented a first energy sobriety plan. Moreover, the data concerning the evolution of the use of gas and electricity in France are now published on the website of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Energy Transition. But on June 20, 2023, the second act of the plan was launched.

Presented on February 20, 2023, the summer energy sobriety plan contains numerous preventive measures. Indeed, Agnès Pannier-Runacher unveiled 14 recommendations to be applied by French companies and citizens this summer. Among them, we find the mobilization of schoolchildren, college and high school students around concrete ecological actions. To do this, it is planned to elect an eco-delegate in charge of these issues.

But to allow you to be more conscientious about your energy consumption, the State has also expanded the number of features on the Ecowatt application. Indeed, offered by RTE, this platform allows French people to be informed of the state of their electricity system. From now on, this application will tell you “the periods of the day when the French carbon-free electricity production mix makes it possible to meet electricity consumption”. This will allow you to schedule your laundry at the right time. For more tips on saving energy while on vacation, check out our slideshow below for tips from the All-Inclusive Energy site.
