(London) England internationals Harry Maguire and James Ward-Prowse are set to sign with Premier club West Ham, according to British media on Wednesday.

Central defender Harry Maguire, 30, who currently plays for Manchester United, and Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse, 28, have agreed to sign for West Ham, who won the Europa League Conference last year, reports the press.

Maguire is however still in discussions with Manchester United on the conditions of his departure with a transfer which could reach 35 million euros.

West Ham, which will compete in the Europa League this season, is also preparing to announce the arrival of Mexican Edson Alvarez (Ajax Amsterdam) for 40.6 million euros.

The 25-year-old defender has passed his medical examination but the administrative formalities for his transfer have not yet been completed. He would replace English international Declan Rice, transferred to Arsenal for 122 million euros.
