A real “winter cocktail”. According to La Chaîne Météo forecasts, the mix of cold and humidity that awaits France at the beginning of December is conducive to the first snowfalls in the plains of the season. Snowflakes are indeed expected in the plains from the weekend of December 3, 2022, while the cold is gradually setting in on the territory. “Do not expect all-white landscapes, except in the mountains, but a few dustings can be observed”, warns the site specializing in meteorology.

Saturday, December 3, 2022 promises to be particularly wintry, with temperatures on average 3°C below normal for the season. “The wind will cause a really cold feeling on the northern half. In this context, the disturbances which will arrive could, in places, turn into snow”, specifies the meteorologist. Three regions will be particularly affected by snowfall: the southeast, the center-east and the northeast.

The next day, Sunday December 4, 2022, the same conditions are expected with, however, a slight rise in temperatures which should then limit the risk of snow. The weather will remain generally cold but dry, and nothing suggests at this stage too significant disturbances.
