Their life cycle makes them very annoying for us very quickly: with a lifespan of 1 to 3 weeks, these strange insects lay their small eggs in nearby organic waste. These then hatch after only two days.

It is therefore a very rapid reproduction which can lead to a real infestation if it is not taken care of. To stop it, no choice. A little cleaning is needed in the kitchen.

Once installed, it is not easy to dislodge them. Gnats or drain flies can quickly become a nuisance in the home. Especially when they take up residence in the sink.
