Intouchables, Les petits mouchoirs, Don’t tell anyone… These are the successful films that have made François Cluzet an emblematic actor of French cinema. On the side of his private life, the artist is the father of four children, from different relationships. In the early 1980s, François Cluzet married screenwriter Chantal Perrin, with whom he had a daughter, Blanche, in 1984.
After their breakup, he finds love again in the arms of actress Marie Trintignant. The couple will become parents of a boy named Paul in 1993. When his ex-girlfriend died in 2003, the actor had to announce the terrible news to their 10-year-old son. “Paul did not fully understand what was happening to him at the time,” he explained to Europe 1 and added that his ex-companion was the mother of several children and that therefore “the kids were all raised together and that “It was necessary that the fathers each recover their own. The two stars became parents of two children: Joseph and Marguerite before announcing their separation in 2010 on the show Café Culture on Europe 1. “I specify, at the risk of disappointing you, that not only are we not married, but that we are separated”, he explained and continued: “That does not prevent us from being able to play together, we did it several times. (…) And we find ourselves there since Guillaume wanted to reunite us as husband and wife”.
