The two Cirque du Soleil acrobats who collided in full aerobatics during a performance of the Echo show in Montreal on Friday evening are out of danger.

Taken to the hospital immediately after the accident, when they had collapsed heavily on the ground, the two artists were discharged a few hours later.

But they were unable to take part in the last shows of this long series that began in April, said communications from Cirque.

The spectacular human frame number of which they are part with an Ethiopian troupe made up of 11 artists was nevertheless presented, but in a modified version.

Echo will be presented in Washington from September 6, but the moment when the acrobats can resume their activities remains to be determined.
