Mother Michèle Deslauriers has been the voice of the Montreal metro since 2003. Her daughter Caroline Dhavernas will be the voice of the Metropolitan Express Network as of July 31.
In a promotional video unveiled on Friday, the organization winks at the two women who cross paths in a cafe. “Bravo, you’ve got your voice really good,” the mother says to her daughter, who thanks her before continuing on her way… to an REM station.
Remember that it was after a blind contest that future users voted for the actress who played the leading role in Mary Kills People. With 40% of the votes, Caroline Dhavernas easily won this popular contest. Proof that the voice is a family story among the Dhavernas-Deslauriers!
