(Toronto) Clothing manufacturer and distributor Canada Goose announces that it will allow its Canadian customers to exchange used Canada Goose-branded clothing for gift cards.

Everything will be available through the exchange program called Generations, whether it’s parkas, outdoor sweaters, snow suits or pants, knitwear or raincoats.

Canada Goose President Carrie Baker said the Toronto-based luxury brand wanted to offer to bring to Canada the Generations program it already offers in the United States to further its commitment to sustainability.

Canada Goose also says it wants to cater to the growing number of people looking for second-hand goods, including buyers under the age of 30.

Carrie Baker says people using the redemption program can expect gift cards worth up to 60% of the current retail price.
