Do you love finishing your meal with ice cream? Be careful ! Ice cream from the Häagen-Dazs brand has been the subject of a voluntary recall throughout France since Friday July 29, 2022.

Why are they being recalled? The presence of 2-Chloroethanol in the vanilla ingredient used in these products, according to Rappel Conso. You are likely to consume it, but it can represent a health risk.

Indeed, according to the ILO (International Labor Organization) website, its ingestion can cause coughing, dizziness, headaches, nausea, sore throat and vomiting. This therefore makes these items unfit for consumption.

The manufacturer recommends that you no longer consume it, contact consumer service and destroy the product. You can also return them to the supermarket for a refund. The slideshow below shows the stores where you can return the ice cream concerned.
