The item that comes up first at 92% is that the place should be quiet. 30% of people questioned take advantage of this time on their holidays to spend some time with their spouse. For these people, the holidays offer a privileged opportunity to get together and strengthen their emotional bond.
These couples value this time off as valuable time to rekindle the flame of their relationship. This trend highlights the importance placed on emotional connection and the sharing of intimate experiences in building and maintaining fulfilling romantic relationships.
For 60% of them, this vacation time is a dream opportunity to spend more time with their partner. They yearn for intimate moments (30%) as well as quality time with their children (47%).
When not lounging in the waters of the sea swimming or having fun with the waves, 69% of holidaymakers enjoy a good walk, while 65% want to enjoy a swimming pool. Reading comes third among the activities practiced (63%), closely followed by the art of sunbathing and/or taking a short nap on a towel (58%).
To make the most of an afternoon at the beach, it is important to know the rules to follow. It is strictly forbidden by law to throw a cigarette butt or make love on the sand. Other acts, apparently more innocuous, are also prohibited on the beach. Although most beaches are free and accessible, there are rules to follow that are sometimes unintentionally broken.
