From June 15 to 19, 2022, the Cabourg Film Festival takes place during which more “about forty short and feature films are presented in preview”, specifies the official website of the event.
For this 36th edition, the jury is chaired by director Diane Kurys, behind cult films including Diabolo mint, Love at first sight or Pour une femme. The filmmaker is assisted by several movie stars including Astrid Berges Frisbey, Luca Bravo, Michel Fessler, Stéphane De Groodt, Julia Piaton and Sylvie Testud. The latter had received the César for best female hope in 2001 for her role in Les Blessures assassines. Three years after this first coronation, the actress had been rewarded with a second César for best actress for her performance in Stupeur et Tremblements.
For this new edition, celebrities posed during the photocall on June 16, 2022. In her white linen ensemble, actress Julia Piaton, daughter of Charlotte de Turckheim, was more than radiant in front of the photographers. The star saw his career take off thanks to his recurring role in the saga What have we done to God?. From 2019 to 2021, she also played the role of Aure Hazan in the Netflix Family Business mini-series alongside Gérard Darmon, Jonathan Cohen and Louise Coldefy.
