Hosted by Claudia Larochelle, the Inspired and Inspiring meeting will allow Joséphine Bacon and Janette Bertrand to discuss their impressive journey. The first published this year her fourth collection of poems in Innu-aimun and French (Kau minuat – Once again), while the second revisited her autobiography (My life in three acts), first published there is 20 years old, to take stock of today’s difficulties. A meeting not to be missed with two remarkable women.
Author and journalist Marie-Andrée Lamontagne will speak with Ukrainian writer Andreï Kourkov, whose novel The Gray Bees won the Prix des libraires du Québec this year in the foreign texts category. The one who speaks six languages will speak in the language of Molière to discuss his work which is translated into 36 languages.
Four authors from Alire will be on hand to meet readers and discuss their brand new novel during this evening which promises to be festive and friendly: Natasha Beaulieu (The Black Pearls), Lionel Noël (September Before the Apocalypse), Albertan Wayne Arthurson (Dishonor at Camp 133) and Alain Bergeron (The Eighth Register).
