The last weekend of March promises to be disrupted. According to La Chaîne Météo forecasts, a depression will arrive off Brittany on the night of Saturday March 25 to Sunday March 26, 2023.

“While the trajectory of the low pressure core remains to be specified, the area where the winds will blow the strongest seems quite reliable, that is to say from the Atlantic arc to the Pyrenees, Occitania then around the Mediterranean on the night of Sunday to Monday”, specifies the site specialized in meteorology. On the rest of France, the risk of storm seems nil.

“On a regional scale, it seems that the axis of strong winds, which can approach the threshold of the storm (that is to say with gusts exceeding 100 km / h inland), is confined to regions close of the Atlantic, in particular between the Pays de la Loire, Charentes, southern Aquitaine and Limousin”, continues the forecaster.

The strengthening of the gusts of wind should occur Sunday, after 5 p.m., and the gusts can reach 110 to 120 km / h, and up to 150 km / h locally on Cap Corse.

This Friday, March 24, 2023, the wind is already blowing in France. So much so that Météo-France has placed around forty departments on violent yellow wind vigilance. Is this the case with you? Check it out in our slideshow below*.
