The Woman in Me will be released in bookstores on October 24, the American publishing house Simon confirmed on Tuesday.

On the cover of the book, the 41-year-old pop star can be seen in profile, with a pair of silver pants, her hands resting on her bare breasts. The Woman in Me is described by the publisher as “a touching story of bravery, touching on themes of freedom, notoriety, motherhood, survival, faith and hope.”
Britney Spears, who has been the subject of several documentaries, including Framing Britney Spears, produced by The New York Times, will discuss in detail the delicate question of her guardianship, by her father James Spears, lifting in 2021 after 13 years.
She will return in particular to her testimony during her appearance in June 2021, a real cry from the heart which paved the way for the recovery of her freedom.
