The 46th edition of the Salon du livre de Montréal, which will be held next fall, will be placed under the theme of the human being.

“This 2023 edition promises to be rich, abundant and turned towards the other. In a context of rapid evolution in the events sector and the fragmentation of interests and habits, the aim of the Salon is to recall the universal and unifying power of books and to celebrate the creative force that lies in each of us. Reading, writing, illustrating: it’s being human,” said the general manager of the Montreal Book Fair, Olivier Gougeon.

The LEEROY agency signed the visual identity for this 46th edition, which will be back at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from November 22 to 26, but will begin on November 10 with activities in the city and in line.

The guest district of this edition (after Saint-Michel, in 2021, and Montreal-North, last year) will be Côte-des-Neiges. A kiosk honoring the creators who have lived there or who have been inspired by it will be presented at the Salon, with a space dedicated to the history of the district which is celebrating its 325th anniversary this year.

The programs for the Salon dans la ville and the Salon online will be unveiled in mid-October, while that for the Salon au Palais will be announced at the end of October.

The 5-Day Passport is currently on presale at the special one-day rate.
