Will there be any Canadiens players left on both legs on April 13? The question arises at the rate at which injuries accumulate.
The team announced the emergency recall of defenseman Corey Schueneman from the Laval Rocket on Monday evening.
The team did not indicate which of the six defenders who played in Saturday’s game Schueneman would replace. One of the six, Jordan Harris, missed Monday’s practice, but his status for Tuesday’s game is unknown.
Schueneman, 27, has played four games for the Habs this season, recording one assist. He also appeared in 58 games with the Rocket, scoring 21 points.
The CH receives the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday.
