(Montreal) The Montreal Alouettes have signed linebacker Brian Harelimana to a new two-year contract.
Harelimana has played every game for the Alouettes in 2022, making 12 defensive tackles, six on special teams and three quarterback sacks. The Laval resident also caused a fumble.
In his first campaign with the Alouettes, in 2021, he had two defensive tackles and three on special teams in eight games.
Harelimana previously wore the University of Montreal Carabins uniform from 2017 to 2019.
“Brian has been improving since we drafted him,” Alouettes general manager Danny Maciocia said in a statement. He is a versatile player who brings a lot to our training defensively. ยป
The Alouettes have also added American defensive lineman L.B. Mack III to their roster.
