(Toronto) Penny Oleksiak has mentioned that she plans to compete at the Paris Olympics in 2024.

The 22-year-old seven-time Olympic medalist withdrew from the World Swimming Championships on June 1 due to injury.

Oleksiak unveiled his intentions at a conference in Toronto on Wednesday afternoon.

The Canadian won four medals at the Rio Olympics in 2016 and three more at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
