(Los Angeles) Ronald Acuna slammed a second-inning grand slam at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, becoming the first player in major league history to hit a season of at least 30 home runs and 60 stolen bases.

The Atlanta Braves right fielder slammed his 30th long pitch of the season against Lance Lynn, hitting a third career grand slam.

Acuna got his number 60 and 61 steals on Monday at Colorado.

In 2019, the Venezuelan delivered a season of 41 home runs and 37 stolen bases.

The 40-40 duo was achieved by Jose Canseco in 1988, Barry Bonds in 1996, Alex Rodriguez in 1998 and Alfonso Soriano in 2006.

In 1986, Rickey Henderson amassed 28 home runs and 87 steals with the New York Yankees.

Four years later, he had 28 home runs and 65 steals with the Oakland A’s. He was the American’s most valuable player that year.
