A charming residence in a village located far from Paris. This June 14, 2023, the actor and humorist Patrick Timsit is on the poster for the comedy Sexygénaires alongside Thierry Lhermitte. The two stars play two friends in their sixties with financial difficulties who will try to take advantage of their image in the world of advertising and fashion.

On the occasion of the promotion of this film, directed by Robin Sykes, Patrick Timsit gave an interview to Télé Star. During this interview, the 63-year-old actor notably mentioned his relationship to the passage of time and indirectly to his age. “Fortunately, I changed my perspective: I told myself that if I had less than twenty years left to live in good shape, I had to smash life, enjoy it to the full. Denis (his character, editor’s note) amuses me, he gets angry with his daughter when he learns of her pregnancy. Whereas me, if my son tells me that I’m going to become a grandfather, I would be very happy,” he explained.

In the rest of this interview, the comedian explained that he had invested in a charming residence located in the village of Uzès in the Gard. “I fell in love with this village made of stone thanks to the bassist-composer of the group Martin Circus thirty-five years ago. I bought a hovel there measuring 6 by 4 meters”, he said and to add: “Since then, I have taken a bigger house, the inhabitants have adopted me. I have made roots there, I come there as soon as I can. I sometimes stay there for several months. Then I go back”. It is in this village that he founded his festival “Seul en Scène”. A joy for the artist who does not hesitate to reveal his daily life as a southerner on the web.
