About fifteen artists from all walks of life will gather on the Plains of Abraham on June 23, in Quebec City, to highlight “their pride in being Quebecers”, including Émile Bilodeau, Louis-Jean Cormier, Pierre Kwenders and Laurence Jalbert . Entertainment activities will begin in the afternoon, at the entrance to the Plains of Abraham, with a brass band and the Flip Fabrique circus.

After opening for the punk rock group Vulgaires Machins, the Grand spectacle de la Saint-Jean-Baptiste will bring together several artists on stage, including the two committed singers Émile Bilodeau and Louis-Jean Cormier. Patrick Normand, Laurence Jalbert, Pierre Kwenders, the Muzion group, Simon Kearney, Marilyne Léonard as well as Innu singers Kanen and Maten will also be there. Spokesperson for the 2023 edition of the capital’s festivities, actress Léane Labrèche-Dor will deliver the traditional patriotic speech.
