An announcement that will surprise more than one. The sublime Linda Hardy, elected Miss France 1992, has become an emblematic star of the small screen thanks to her many roles on television, including that of PE teacher, Clémentine Doucet, in the seriesTomorrow belongs to us broadcast on TF1. A role that she will play from 2018 before bowing out in 2021. A departure that was not her doing, as she explained in the columns of Télé 7 jours.
“Yes, I’m leaving the show, even if I don’t like to use this term, because I haven’t decided. The current circumstances are complicated for everyone, and I don’t want to pass for the actress who is well in her job, but who decides to leave anyway”, she had declared and continued: “I do not want people to say to themselves: ‘Who does she think she is?’ I have always been used to periods of absence, with this role. Since leaving fiction, Linda Hardy has made several appearances in other successful series such as Commissioner Magellan, Camping Paradis and Alice Nevers. Now, the 49-year-old star is dedicated to a very amazing new project, that of starring in the biopic of adult film comedian Rocco Siffredi which will be broadcast on Netflix. “Another small project, well not so small as that for Netflix. I shot a small role in a series, which in my opinion will be talked about a lot, which is a biopic on the life of Rocco Siffredi”, she explained on the set of the Jordan de Luxe broadcast on C8.
If the star did not want to go into details, she did however give some clues about the character she will play. “I’m playing a character who existed in Rocco’s life, who is a woman I spoke to on the phone, who is an 80s figure.” To be continued !
