(Longueuil) The aerospace products manufacturer Héroux-Devtek suffered a slight decline in its net profit in the second quarter of the current financial year compared to the corresponding period of 2022.

During the three-month period which ended on September 30, the Longueuil-based company posted a net income of 4.628 million, down from 4.799 million reported a year earlier. However, during the same period, adjusted net income increased from 3.58 million to 4.628 million.

Sales also increased, from 132.68 million to 141,499 million.

The president and CEO of Héroux-Devtek, Martin Brassard, believes that the second quarter results indicate that the company is getting closer and closer to its historical level of profitability.

Héroux-Devtek specializes in the design, development, manufacturing, repair, maintenance and overhaul of landing gear, hydraulic and electromechanical actuators for the aerospace market.
