An autobiography that addresses several aspects of the singer’s private life. Florent Pagny, star artist of the show The Voice, has decided to indulge without taboo in his new autobiography published on April 5, 2023.
Suffering from lung cancer, revealed on his social networks in January 2022, Florent Pagny explained that he had discovered his illness because of a persistent cough. “If my cough was the result of overuse of my vocal muscles, it should get better, but that’s not what’s happening. On the contrary, it’s getting worse. It’s especially when I smoke my firecracker that it occurs. I’m starting to think that something is wrong,” he wrote in his autobiography titled Pagny by Florent and added: “Smoking becomes so unpleasant that I quit. It’s not very difficult, because I have only ever smoked plants with my weed and therefore do not have a nicotine addiction”.
In the rest of his book, the husband of Azucena Caamaño also returned to his love story with Vanessa Paradis as well as his unique intimate experience with a man following a questioning about his sexual orientation. “As a result, I end up wondering if I myself am not gay. And why not? Might as well be clear! So as not to die stupid, I try the experiment. Once, I let myself be approached, but very little time. Let’s say it was a gay minute. I quickly realized that I was an absolute hetero”, he had revealed.
Since then, the artist has founded a family with his Argentinian wife with whom he had two children: Inca and Aël.
