(Paris) The Interallié prize, with an exclusively male jury, announced on Thursday that it had selected five finalist novels all signed by men, including Gaspard Kœnig, unsuccessful finalist of the Goncourt prize.

In this list of finalists, Humus by Gaspard Kœnig, essayist and philosopher, sits alongside books by three journalist authors, those to whom this prize is primarily aimed, and that of an author who does not work in the media.

David Le Bailly (Hôtel de la Folie) writes for L’Obs, Louis-Henri de la Rochefoucauld (Les petits farceurs) for several titles, and Bernard de Saint-Vincent (Une certain déinvolteur) for Le Figaro.

The fifth author selected is Charlie Roquin (The Masters of Bayreuth).

The prize is awarded on November 22 in Paris.
