Great success of the year 2000 in Quebec, the song Et Cetera is revisited by its interpreter, Gabrielle Destroismaisons, this time in an acoustic version.

From June 2, the new version of Et Cetera will be available on all digital platforms. A version “in all simplicity”, where we hear only the voice of the singer and the guitar of Jean-Philippe Audet.

Note that the tube Et Cetera – whose original version is resolutely “dance” – was recently revived in the series The night where Laurier Gaudreault woke up, by Xavier Dolan. We also heard it in the film Lines of Flight and at the conclusion of Rosalie Vaillancourt’s Just for Laughs gala.

By press release, Gabrielle Destroismaisons explains that she is offering this new version for her 40th birthday. She was only 17 years old when the original, released in 2000 on ETC, was released, her first album and the one that made her known “I am privileged to still be in the Quebec musical landscape today”, voices the singer, who is co-producing the new song with Productions Grand V.
