British media have spotted an advertisement in a local London newspaper which allegedly reveals the title of a new Rolling Stones album, Hackney Diamonds, which we can infer will be released in September.

Everything indicates that the advertisement published in the Hackney Gazette is in fact an encrypted advertisement of the venerable group. All the clues are there, the Stones logo dotted over the i in the store/album name, famous song titles that are included in the ad text – Satisfaction, Gimme Sheleter, Shattered.

The glass repair store’s website, which uses the same text, also has a button that asks to “register”, which actually appears to be a way to pre-order the album. It also leads to the Universal site.

Rumors of a new Stones album release have been swirling around for the past few months, and this announcement adds another layer of that. The group’s most recent album, Blue and Lonesome, dates back to 2016.
