(Denver) The Colorado Avalanche signed forward Tomas Tatar to a one-year contract on Tuesday.

According to several sources, this pact would be worth 1.5 million US dollars.

Tatar scored 20 goals and 28 assists in 82 games last season with the New Jersey Devils.

The 32-year-old veteran has scored 211 goals and amassed 244 assists in 783 career regular season games in the NHL with the Detroit Red Wings, Vegas Golden Knights, Montreal Canadiens and Devils.

He was selected in the second round, 60th overall, by the Red Wings in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
