(Cleveland) Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett suffered no structural damage to his left shoulder during Sunday’s game in Denver against the Broncos.

Ranking second in the NFL with 13 sacks, Garrett was banged up during the Browns’ 29-12 loss.

He remained in the encounter, but his movements were limited.

He left the stadium with his arm in a sling.

Coach Kevin Stefanski said an MRI test showed no major problems with Garrett’s left shoulder – the same one he sprained last year in a single-car crash .

Stefanski said Garrett is “sore” but the team is optimistic for the future.

Stefanski added that it’s still too early to know if Garrett will be available Sunday, when the Browns (7-4) visit the Los Angeles Rams (5-6).

Rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is in the concussion protocol after being hit hard in the second half.

Linebacker Baron Browning was also punished for roughness during the sequence.

Thompson-Robinson was making a third start, replacing Deshaun Watson, who is out for the remainder of the season due to shoulder surgery.

P.J. Walker replaced Thompson-Robinson.
