According to a study by the Liligo flight price comparator, conducted by Opinion Way, the French want to go on vacation this year despite the inflationary context and the pension reform crisis. Indeed, 71% of households intend to travel in 2023, compared to 42% last year. “I continue to travel. I have always reserved a dedicated budget to travel despite inflation. It is part of the pleasures of life”, testifies a Frenchwoman on M6, during 1245 of March 17, 2023.

“Despite the anxieties linked to the economic and geopolitical situation, the budget has increased by 400 euros”, specifies the general manager of Protourisme. Indeed, this year, the French will allocate an average of 2,339 euros per person for their holidays, against 1,641 euros in 2022, according to TF1.

If you haven’t yet booked your August holidays and you want to not spend too much while getting a change of scenery, Liligo has selected European destinations at low prices. The flight comparator offers six destinations accessible by plane for less than 200 euros. These are therefore round-trip tickets departing from France. The list was put together based on searches carried out on the Liligo platform between January 1 and May 24, 2023, reports Capital.
