(Las Vegas) The American Shakur Stevenson won the vacant WBC lightweight champion title by unanimously beating the Dominican Edwin De Los Santos on Thursday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Stevenson also preserved his invincibility at 26, bringing his record, without defeat or draw, to 21 victories. Two of the three judges gave him the winner by 116 points to 112, the third by 115 to 113.

Stevenson, unhappy with his performance despite the victory, became champion in a third weight category, after having been in the feather and super featherweight categories.
