By M. A. M. A. numminen’s curious tango songs, especially through his musical settings of Ludwig Wittgenstein’s, you know, which is the special charm of a Finnish accent. The group is Vasas Flora och Fauna-the case is a little different, but similar: she comes from Finland, but from the coastal region of Vaasa, therefore, the so-called Finland Swedish. In this dialect, it has already been recorded, two in Scandinavia, successful albums (“Släkt med Lotta Svärd” in 2015 and “Veneziansk afton”, 2017). Now, the Trio of Mattias Björkas, Tina Kärkinen and Daniel Ventust determined to a surprising step: It published a selection of his songs in German on an Album called “Beachcombing”, and it stands out first by its beautiful Artwork from such a staged beach finds into the eye.

The song title in itself is already strange sound promising: “own home house”, for example, “Honda Monkey”, or “tattoo”. In the case of the latter, you could almost think of the Band Rammstein, but far from it: This is a melancholy Retro-Tanzpop, reminiscent of Belle and Sebastian.
