(Paris) A week after the United States Open, the top 10 of the WTA rankings published on Monday are almost unchanged, with Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, Polish Iga Swiatek and American Cori Gauff still in the first three places.

The American Jessica Pegula, without playing, took advantage of points lost by the Kazakh Elena Rybakina to take fourth place from her.

The strongest progression in the top 20 is that of the Czech Barbora Krejcikova, Roland-Garros champion in 2021, who gains three ranks and returns to 10th place thanks to her victory on Sunday at the San Diego tournament.

She ejects Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia from the top 10, who falls to 11th place.
