Spring finally arrives the week of April 17, 2023. Indeed, La Chaîne Météo forecasts the return of temperatures to seasonal normals. “We are going to move from autumnal weather to a more springtime atmosphere”, confirms the editorial staff of La Chaîne Météo. And this improvement will arrive as early as the weekend of April 15. Mild air will affect western regions. This air mass comes from “the anticyclone [which] rises from the Azores between Saturday and Sunday towards France and will have the effect of drying out the air mass from the west”.
Conversely, the south of France will have to wait a little longer to see the arrival of good weather in the region. Indeed, “the east and the south-east will experience more degraded weather under the influence of low pressure lows”, specifies the editorial staff. Nevertheless, this depression will join Greece over the days. But, from the beginning of the week, the sky will clear in several departments. According to Météo France forecasts, temperatures will start to rise at the start of the week. Thus, “the conditions remain pleasant in the west and we will already have maximum values between 16°C and 17°C”. Despite the presence of a few clouds on Tuesday April 18 over eastern France, this grayness will dissipate quickly. But it is from Wednesday that the heat will affect the southwestern regions of France. Discover the departments concerned.
While some departments in these regions will experience showers, the majority of them will welcome warmer temperatures. “We will have 18 to 20°C on the Atlantic coast from Wednesday with beautiful sunny days throughout the country”, specifies the editorial staff of La Chaîne Météo. Temperatures will then continue to climb over the following weekend. Indeed, according to their forecasts, there will be “2 very pleasant days Friday and Saturday with locally more than 25°C in the South-West and a radiant sun for all”.
